Tesco has wowed customers with a “beautiful” faux olive tree decked out with fairy lights, now available at a reduced price for Clubcard holders – slashed from £55 to just £38. The decorative tree became a social media sensation after a delighted customer shared her discovery on TikTok, calling it an “absolute bargain”.
Posting under the username @Floraliehome, the savvy shopper, named Chess, praised the ‘stunning’ tree. “Guys what a bargain with your Tesco club card! I’ve been after a new, big faux olive tree for AGES and this one is perfect and affordable… amazing! Only £38 WITH the fairy lights too!!!” she exclaimed.
In her video, Chess showed how she styled the tree in her home, placing it into a wicker basket, enhancing its look. She said: “I knew it just absolutely had to come home with me. I popped it in a wicker basket and just pulled out the branches a little bit to make it more wild.
“I added a little bit of hessian as well as I thought this looked nicer at the bottom of the pot, and this is how it looks in our hallway. I love it. It was such a bargain. I can’t believe I got this for under £40.”
Chess’ clever finishing touches received a wave of compliments from viewers, reports the Mirror. Another person added “I bought this tree and was fed up keep lifting it off the floor to turn the lights off, thought they’d be on a timer. I got lights from garden centre that have a timer and put them on it instead.”
