Michael McIntyre has revealed an exciting addition to his popular ‘Big Show’ as it gears up for its eighth season debut this coming Saturday (January 18) on BBC One.
Enticing fans with a sneak peek into the fresh content, Michael announced that the new season will introduce a “hilarious” segment called Remember Me.
“The big news is that we have a new item called Remember Me, where a celebrity sits in the Royal Box and a person from any time in their past appears on stage,” he explained.
The segment will challenge a celebrity to identify how they’re connected to a surprise guest on stage.
“It could be anyone from the midwife who birthed them, to a holiday romance or the driver who bought them to the theatre,” said Michael, explaining the new segment. “I play it with Miranda Hart, Alan Carr and Holly Willoughby with hilarious results.”

In addition to this new feature, the forthcoming ‘jam-packed’ series welcomes back the hilarious Send to All challenge, involving Judi Love, Tony Bellew, and Michael Sheen surrendering their phones.
Zara McDermott and Sam Thompson will find themselves at the centre of the Midnight Gameshow. This particular episode stands out for Michael: “Sam and Zara’s Midnight Gameshow was a highlight too as they had locked their bedroom door from the inside! So, I couldn’t get in! ” he shared, recalling the amusing obstacle before the couple took part in the infamous nocturnal quiz. “They were terrified as I had to knock on the door – but thankfully they then had the time of their lives.”

The Wheel on Wheels van has returned to the streets, with the team navigating through Birmingham in search of someone tuning into the gameshow live. However, Michael stumbles upon an Indian takeaway restaurant where The Wheel is being broadcasted on TV, thus presenting the customers with a chance to win their meals and other prizes.
