Persimmon Homes Cornwall and West Devon, has entered into an official three-year sponsorship agreement with Bideford AFC as part of its Community Champions initiative.
A key highlight of the agreement is the renaming of Bideford AFC’s home ground to ‘The Persimmon Homes Sports Ground’.
Jane Cartwright, sales director at Persimmon Homes Cornwall and West Devon, said: “We are proud to announce this official partnership with Bideford AFC as we launch our new ‘Abbotsham Park’ development in the town.
“Renaming the ground to ‘The Persimmon Homes Sports Ground’ symbolises our commitment to supporting the club and the local community in a meaningful way and we’re delighted to be backing the Robins over the next three years.
“As a responsible and prominent local business, this partnership is about creating a positive impact and supporting the cornerstone of the local community in Bideford AFC.”
Bideford Association Football Club, nicknamed “The Robins” due to their all-red strip, has a storied history and is a significant part of the local community.
The club currently competes in the Southern League Division One South and the partnership with Persimmon Homes marks an important step in the continued growth and support of the club, which will help enhance their facilities and presence in the footballing pyramid.
This collaboration comes as Persimmon Homes recently launched its Abbotsham Park development in Bideford, which will deliver 200 homes for people. The development features a range of one-bedroom plus study to four-bedroom homes, with prices starting from £205,000 to £424,995.
