Birmingham indecent exposure incident sparks police CCTV appeal

A CCTV image of a man who may have information about a flashing incident in Birmingham has been issued by police. West Midlands Police issued an image of a man they wish to speak to after the alleged indecent exposure incident on a Birmingham bus.

The force said a “report of indecent exposure” took place in November 2024. It happened near the Aston Triangle on the evening of November 19.

An image of a man in a thick winter coat with a fluffy hood was released as part of the appeal. He was pictured with dark hair and a beard.

West Midlands Police issued a short statement on the incident on Thursday January 2. In issuing the CCTV appeal, a spokesperson for the force said on January 2: “We want to speak to this man following a report of indecent exposure on a bus in Birmingham.

“It happened near the Aston Triangle at around 8.20am on 19 November. Anyone with information can contact us via Live Chat on our website, or by calling 101, and quote 20/978031/24.”
