Bristol’s best pizza: nominate your favourite in the city

A pizza done right is a true delight. From an easy takeaway to help with a hangover to an elaborate one served in a restaurant for a special occasion, there is certainly a pizza for every moment – and with many forms.

Thin, crispy bases or thicker, doughy ones; a few or many toppings; a tomato base or a cream-based one. Whatever kind of pizza you want, Bristol has got you covered.

The city is known for being home to a wide range of pizzerias. So, as we continue our search for the best of the best in our city, we want to find Bristol’s best pizza according to our readers.

In November, we revealed that a pub in Bristol city centre serves the city’s best Sunday roast, according to our readers. After more than 700 votes were cast, The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer on King Street was the clear winner after receiving 310 votes.

We have also found out where the city’s best greasy spoon is. After nearly a thousand votes were cast, Abbots Kitchen on Dundry Road, in Whitchurch, South Bristol, became the winner after receiving 432 votes.

We also asked our readers to recommend the best fish and chip shop in Bristol and, after just over a thousand votes were cast, Marios Fish Bar on Pool Road, Kingswood, was the clear winner after receiving 586 votes.

But now we are looking for the best pizza in the city. Let us know your suggestions below and we will put the top five to a vote next week:
