British Gas customers are waking up to £100 vouchers to help with the Cost of Living. Under the firm’s Refer a Friend scheme, both existing customers and those who they refer to the energy giant are being handsomely rewarded by the company.
British Gas says: “Know someone who’d be interested in joining us as an energy customer? Or someone who needs an energy-efficient new boiler? Send them a simple link recommending us – and we’ll thank you both with an online gift voucher!”
“There’s no limit to the amount of people you can refer – or the rewards you can earn. Every boiler referral gets you and your friend a £100 voucher. And for energy, you’ll both get £25 for electricity and £25 for gas,” the supplier said.

First, y ou share a simple link and follow the instructions on the referral page for energy or new boilers. When your friend or family member joins British Gas, they can add your details when signing up for energy or buying a new boiler.
“Once everything is completed, you’ll both get vouchers to spend online,” British Gas said. To be able to refer a friend, you’ll need to be an existing British Gas customer. You’ll also need to have an online account with the energy firm.
You can refer as many friends as you like. And there’s no limit on the number of referral rewards you can earn, provided you and your friend meet the terms of the Refer a Friend scheme. The value of your Amazon.co.uk Gift Card depends on what your friend buys.

The firm warns: “If your friend makes a qualifying purchase but cancels their agreement within 90 days of their supply or policy start date, you and your friend will no longer be eligible for the gift cards. And if they decide to switch to a different British Gas product within 90 days of their supply or policy start date, we’ll amend the value of your gift card to reflect their new product choice.”
