A Bullring shop that opened at the end of August last year is set to close. Hanok, which sells Korean-inspired homeware, will shut to the public on January 22 according to staff.
Hanok took over the former O2 unit on the ground floor of the Bullring beside H Samuel last summer. At the time signage went up telling Brummies it would open, a QR code led to a dead end and Hanok had no presence on social media or information on its website.
Now it has a website, complete with online shop, though it has only attracted two followers on Facebook and 36 followers on Instagram, where it has not posted since November.

Signs went up this week at the Bullring shop to say items were discounted. Staff in the store advised that it would be closing on January 22.
It’s the second store to close or announce closure in the last two weeks. Endura Roses, a store which sold preserved floral gifts beside The Fragrance Shop on the middle floor near Selfridges, left a single rose and a heart-felt note to its customers when it shut on December 31.
