A police appeal has been launched after a man threw a glass at a vehicle outside a bar in Rossendale.
CCTV footage released by Lancashire Police today (January 8) shows a man officers want to speak to in connection with the incident. It happened outside the Northern Whisper in Rawtenstall at around 8.25pm on Saturday, December 21.
Police said the offender reportedly threw a glass at a vehicle and then fled the scene. No details have been released about the type of vehicle or what damage was caused.
In a statement, Rossendale Police said: “Do you recognise this man? We want to speak to him in connection with our investigation into attempted criminal damage to a vehicle.

“The incident is reported to have happened outside the Northern Wisper, Newchurch Road, Rawtenstall at around 8:25pm on Saturday 21st December 2024. It was reported that a man threw a glass at a vehicle, then left.
“We appreciate this happened some time ago, and whilst we have been making enquiries since that date, we are now at a point where we are asking for your help. We know this image isn’t of the highest quality, but if you recognise this man, witnessed the incident, or have any information that could help us in our investigation, please call 101 quoting log 1170 of 21st December 2024.”
