A thief stole a wallet from a car before going on a spending spree.
Police in Chorley have today (December 30) issued an appeal following the incident last month. They have shared pictures of a man they want to speak to and are asking anyone who recognises him to get in contact.
Officers said the thief stole a wallet from a car before using a bank card four times to buy items at ‘multiple shops’ in Chorley. The offences happened on November 27.
In the CCTV pictures, the dark-haired suspect is pictured wearing a blue coat and green pants. In one of the images he appears to be inside a McDonald’s restaurant.

In a statement, Chorley Police said: “Do you recognise this man? If you do we would like to speak to him as part of our enquires into a theft of a wallet from a car.
“He then used the card 4 times to buy items at multiple shops in Chorley. If you recognise this male, please contact police on 101, quoting log 0287 of the 27th November 2024. or email 4282@lancashire.police.uk”
