Claudia Winkleman, the presenter of Strictly Come Dancing, has confessed to making a recurring error on the show due to her poor memory. Despite having hosted the popular BBC programme since 2010, Claudia’s tenure doesn’t seem to have helped her remember past contestants.
Speaking to Times Radio, she revealed that she often suggests celebrities who have already participated in Strictly for future series. Claudia explained: “Anything I’ve done, I literally can’t remember.
“Do you know at the end of every year at the end of Strictly they go: ‘Can you put five names in a hat?’ Everybody, props boys, crew, everybody. They ask: ‘Who would you like to see?’
“It’s not that official, but who would you like. Without a doubt, and I don’t try and do this, I write down people who have already done it.

“I go: ‘Do you know who I’d like to see – Alesha Dixon. They go: ‘You know she won – she was amazing.'”
This comes after Claudia was left emotional over The Traitors twist in an off-camera moment.
Currently, she is back on British TV presenting the third season of the popular BBC reality show, which kicked off earlier this week. Claudia admits that by the end of filming, she feels as if the contestants are her “children”.
She even confessed to HELLO! =magazine that seeing some contestants banished has brought her to tears, reports Lancs Live.

She said: “There is somebody this year, and you can’t see it, but I really cried when they were banished.”
Due to its massive UK popularity, the show has been renewed for a fourth series, with a celebrity spin-off also in development. To keep things fresh, producers continually introduce subtle tweaks to heighten the suspense and surprises.
“There are some really exciting things that have changed, which keeps everyone on the toes and feeds into the central premise of trust,” Claudia explains.
