Sharing snaps to her Instagram account the Cassie Plummer star posed alongside her son, Jaxon, on a Caribbean beach wearing a stunning black dress with the caption “Happy New Year”. In a separate post uploaded to her story, her son is wearing 2025 light up glasses as the pair welcomed New Year in together in style.
Other videos showed families on the beach enjoying the New Year fireworks and celebrating the occasion. Claire and Ricky went on several holidays when they were together. In May they shared snaps of a holiday to Tenerife together with their friends and looking very happy together. In October Claire shared a selfie with the boxer from Manchester Airport ahead of a holiday to Tenerife to celebrate Ricky’s birthday.
In December, a source told MailOnline: “They decided they’re better off as pals and are no longer romantically together. They enjoyed their time as a couple and have plenty of shared interests, but their lifestyles are very different.” The source added: “While Claire is one of the biggest stars on Coronation Street and is very career-gliding, Ricky’s more freewheeling and unpredictable.”
The 53-year-old from Walton established herself as one of the main characters on Coronation Street over the past 12 months as her character Cassandra Plummer made her mark on the Cobbles. This includes being involved in some of the show’s biggest plots.
