Fans of Coronation Street seem to have had enough of bent copper Kit Green as they beg producers to “get him of my screen”.
Kit, who is the son of Bernie Winter, has been causing serious trouble since he landed on the cobbles earlier this year. From evidence tampering to corruption and blackmail, the police officer has proven that he is not as straight and narrow as he should be.
In recent scenes, Kit was also partly responsible for the breakdown of David Platt and his wife’s Shona’s marriage after he slept with Shona. Given his history of calamity and disaster, fans have seem to have had enough of Kit and are begging for ITV producers to get rid of his character altogether.
Heading over to X formerly known as Twitter, frustrated fans shared their thoughts. One viewer said: “Kit is such a manipulative little s**t get him off my screen!”
