An urgent search is underway for a 20-year-old woman who may have been seen on a coastal path with a border collie, say police.
Florence, from Basingstoke, Hampshire, is understood to have travelled to the Minehead area and possibly used a path along the coast towards Lynton. She was last seen in Hampshire on December 30 at around 9am and may be with a black and white border collie.
Avon and Somerset Police have made an appeal to the public for help following her disappearance and have shared information about her online. She is described as white, roughly 5ft 6ins tall and has long blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a long brown coat, a blue hat, walking boots and was carrying a rucksack, reports SomersetLive. Anyone who has seen Florence, or knows of her whereabouts are urged to call 999 and quote the reference number 5224414039.
A police spokesperson urged people to get in touch if you have any information. They stated: “We’re concerned for the 20-year-old who was last seen near Basingstoke in Hampshire at about 9am yesterday morning (30 December) and is believed to have since travelled to the Minehead area or used the coastal path towards Lynton.
“Florence is white about 5ft 6ins tall and has long blond hair. She was last seen wearing a long brown coat, blue hat, walking boots and carrying a rucksack. She may be with a dog – a black and white border collie. If you see her, call 999 and give the call handler the reference number 5224414039. Call 101 with any other information.”
