Eamonn Holmes has revealed how he is hoping for a better 2025 after his split from Ruth Langsford. The TV host had a tough year following the end of his 14-year marriage.
He also parted ways with his ‘TV wife’ on GB News, Isabel Webster, just before Christmas. Eamonn shared with fans that he was finding it hard to get into the festive spirit this year, but revealed what changed his mood.
“Now here’s a really good one. Just finished watching Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick in Deck The Halls on @ITVX. I’m at last full of Christmas Cheer!”

Fans responded by asking when he would be back on GB News – without Isabel. He replied: “Monday, January 6.”
One follower commented: “Great film. Hope 2025 will be kind to you! ” Eamonn responded with three ‘prayer’ emojis.
This comes after the 65 year old was taken by surprise when his 42 year old co-host was let go after negotiation talks failed a week before Christmas. They had just wrapped up their final show of the year and were planning to celebrate Christmas with their breakfast team.
However, Isabel’s departure was announced and she was immediately replaced by rising star Ellie Costello. Eamonn spent Christmas Day with his new girlfriend Katie Alexander and met her family for the first time.
It was the presenter’s first visit to the property, which Katie, 43, had arranged for work to be done on to accommodate wheelchair user Eamonn, 65. The Sun reported that Eamonn spent a few days in Yorkshire, before heading back to his spot in South West London.
