Emmerdale fans are convinced they’ve figured out when April Windsor will make her return to the Dales – and she won’t be coming back alone.
The young character, played by Amelia Flanagan, has been absent since Christmas Day, last seen entering an unfamiliar car driven by an unknown person.
April’s vanishing act followed a challenging period in the Dales. She was not only kidnapped by the dangerous Jade (Twinnie-Lee Moore), but also discovered the truth about her mother Donna’s (Verity Rushworth) death in 2014.
Subsequently, April resorted to alcohol and drugs and had a fallout with her father Marlon (Mark Charnock), before disappearing. Since then, a distraught Marlon, along with the rest of the village, has been desperate to locate April.

This week, Marlon made an online video appeal, hoping that April would see it and return home. Sadly, despite the video going viral, cruel trolls accused Marlon of being involved in her disappearance.
However, fans believe they have ‘decoded’ when April will reappear – and they ‘know’ precisely who will escort her back to the village, reports Leeds Live.

Emmerdale aficionados are bracing for a dramatic February with scenes that some speculate may signal the return of April. On the show’s Facebook fan page, speculation arose following a teaser about an ice stunt.
A fan queried, “So this when April returns? ” The post drew nods from others, one replying, “Most likely.” While another chimed in with, “Yes I thought this too! I don’t think they will drag it out for any longer.”
There’s also buzz that Adele Silva’s character, Kelly Windsor, could be the key to April’s comeback. One viewer speculated, “Wasn’t there talks about Kelly coming back. Maybe she’s gone to her and she brings April back.”
