FatFace ‘good quality’ khaki parka coat with pockets drops from £170 to £64 in sale

Fans of fashion brand FatFace are racing to snap up a ‘lovely’ coat from the retailer as it has been reduced by more than £100. The Mira Green Multiway Parka was originally priced at £170 but is now selling for £64. Saving shoppers 62% off their purchase, it’s an excellent opportunity to get your hands on a high ticket item for less.

The Mira Multiway Parka gives you three wearing options in one coat, thanks to a removable quilted liner jacket. You can wear the parka on its own when the weather starts to warm up but you need to protection from rain, or just as the inner jacket if you’re only after a light layer.

In the meantime, you can wear all layers together for maximum warmth. Both jackets come with a hood and pockets making the versatile buy incredibly practical as well. The coat only comes in one colour, a classic khaki green, but it’s a neutral tone that can easily be styled with any outfit. For those who prefer pattern, Seasalt Cornwall’s Field Path Padded Waterproof Jacket is now £85 down from £195 and comes in a vibrant check print.

Sizes in the FatFace sale don’t tend to stick around long so shoppers will have to be quick if they don’t want to be disappointed. Currently, the Mira coat is stocked in sizes six through to 22. Having bought the coat in December of last year, one shopper said it is a ‘lovely coat and good quality’.

They did go on to say it’s ‘the most expensive coat’ they have ever bought, however the sale price makes it cheaper than several other coats on the market. The Waved Longline Hooded Coat from Roman is a popular pick that comes in three colours – it was £99 but is now on sale for £80. And this highly rated Marks and Spencer Stormwear™ Hooded Raincoat is £69.

The FatFace Mira Coat does not have any reviews highlighting its waterproof credentials so it might be worth noting that although the alternative options are more pricey, they do. One shopper said that the M&S coat was ‘showerproof, exactly what is needed in the UK’ and a customer speaking of the Roman coat said ‘it has been tested and is waterproof’.

You can style the Mira Coat in a multitude of ways, whether it be with jeans and boots, or leggings. The layering feature makes it a great option to wear when commuting or travelling to work as you can simply pop off a layer if you get too warm and attach it in the evening when you’re heading home.
