A number of areas in Lancashire have been hit by power cuts this morning following adverse weather conditions.
Many of us have woken up to blankets of snow on the ground in the region, as heavy snowfall hit the county overnight. As a result, a number of homes are also experiencing power cuts at the moment.
In Lancashire, areas hit with the heavy snowfall have been affected, according to Electricity North West. They say power cuts have been caused by an unexpected incident on the high voltage cable providing electricity to homes and businesses.
If anyone is experiencing a power cut, the electricity company says that people should keep a safe distance from any electrical equipment and cables to avoid accidents, injuries and even fatalities. Here is a list of areas in Lancashire that have been hit by power cuts and their current status:
