Gloucestershire police urge people to check photos after stolen items seized

Images of a number of items believed to be stolen have been released by police in an attempt to return them to their owners. Police investigating reported theft offences have seized a range of tools and electronic items and are appealing for the owners to come forward.

A 28-year-old man from Gloucester has been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods in connection to the seized items. He has been released on police bail pending further investigation.

Police have released pictures of a number of items, including a VW car key, games consoles and electrical tools, all believed to have been stolen. Anyone who recognises any of the items, or who has lost items resembling those pictured below, is asked to contact police.

A statement from Gloucestershire Police said: “Police have issued images of a number of seized items in a bid to identify the rightful owners. A number of items, including tools and electrical items, were seized recently as part of an investigation into theft offences.

“A 28-year-old man from Gloucester was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods in connection with the seizure of the items and released on bail pending further enquiries.

“Investigating officers are now asking members of the public to take a look at the images and get in contact if they recognise any of the items or know who they may belong to.
