Graham Norton has shared that he will be taking a hiatus from his renowned talk show next month. The beloved BBC personality let fans know during the 10 January airing of The Graham Norton Show that he plans a trip Down Under.
Aged 61, Graham is jetting off to Australia in February, gearing up for his live tour ‘An Evening with Graham Norton’, which will mark its debut appearance in Australia. He is scheduled to entertain crowds in Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne come March, engaging them with amusing anecdotes and highlights from his vast career, followed by a question-and-answer segment.
While Graham entertains Australian audiences, Claudia Winkleman, famed for hosting The Traitors, is set to hold the fort back home on the 28 February iteration of The Graham Norton Show. With his typical charm, Graham expressed his gratitude to Claudia for stepping in, to which she humorously responded: “I apologise in advance!”

The reveal came alongside Claudia’s guest spot on Graham’s talk show on 10 January, where she joined stars such as Myles Smith, Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, and Billy Porter. During the programme, Claudia delved into the newest series of The Traitors, which kicked off on 1 January.
Claudia, well-known for her quirky presenting style, has enthused about the popularity of ‘The Traitors,’ comparing her fondness for the show to that of a parent’s for their child. She said: “I am always very nervous that people aren’t watching and then incredibly grateful that they are.
“I feel about Traitors like people feel about an offspring – you’re so glad when people love it. I can’t say much but the producers are so clever and there are lots of twists and turns coming,” she revealed in a chat with Graham, reports the Mirror.
The BBC icon’s distinct fashion sense on the show also sparked widespread interest, and Claudia has said that Royal and celebrity inspiration is behind her eye-catching looks: “We always like to have a muse – for Strictly it has been Anita Dobson and this year it was Demis Roussos. For Traitors it’s Princess Anne meets Sarah Brightman. We’ve already decided on next year’s – I’ll be dressing as Gerald from Clarkson’s Farm! ” she mentioned to Graham.
Since its inception in 2022 on BBC One, ‘The Traitors’ quickly carved out its niche among viewers. After an impressive second series, fans are currently enjoying an even more enthralling third series on the channel.
