A major road in Bradford is closed in both directions following a crash.
Harrogate Road – the A658 – has been shut at Ravenscliffe Avenue to Bank in Eccleshill, Bradford, since 4am following the accident. It is not yet known what has happened but people on social media have reported that the road was closed slightly earlier at around 2am after a crash left three people trapped.
It is understood they were helped to safety, with one being freed by fire crews and have all been taken to hospital.
The road remains closed this morning. An update posted at 4am on traffic partner Inrix said: “A658 Harrogate Road in both directions closed due to accident from Ravenscliffe Avenue to Bank.”
