A chilling supernatural horror film that has won the hearts of Ariana Grande and Stephen King, and boasts an almost flawless rating, is now available for free viewing.

Late Night with the Devil, which was released in the UK in 2024, has garnered a whopping 97 per cent critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, along with an impressive 82 per cent from audiences. The plot revolves around a late-night talk show host who resorts to extreme measures to ramp up his ratings, attempting to broadcast a girl’s possession live on TV during a Halloween special.

The star-studded cast features David Dastmalchian (known for Prisoners, The Dark Knight) as ‘Night Owls’ host Jack Delroy, alongside Ian Bliss (The Matrix Revolutions) and Laura Gordon (Saw V). Ingrid Torelli takes on the role of Lilly D’Abo, a girl rescued from a notorious cult, now possessed by a demon.

The film caught the eye of singer and Wicked actress Ariana Grande, who admitted to being a horror aficionado. During her stint on Variety’s actors-on-actors series with Gladiator star Paul Mescal, she professed her admiration for the film.

“I watch a lot of horror,” she started, to which Mescal interjected: “I can’t watch horror for love or money. I saw Longlegs recently… F*** me, I cannot do it.”

“It’s so good,” Grande retorted. “That and Late Night with the Devil were my two favourite of the year for horror. You have to see it because even just the performance… you have to see it. It’s so brilliant.”

Grande isn’t the only high-profile name backing the flick; horror icon Stephen King has also given it his stamp of approval, saying “I couldn’t take my eyes off it.”
