Christopher was watching TV when his partner spotted his lookalike

A man is surprised that he is considered a lookalike of a sports star. Christopher Roger, 33, was watching a match in the PDC World Darts Championship last month when his partner Sarah Marshall spotted something.
Sarah, 31, decided to record a video of her partner looking at the TV and post it online. They were watching Warrington-born Luke Littler play and Sarah casually panned round to her partner, who shares a similar side profile.
Sarah jokingly quipped “how is Luke Littler on my TV and sat in my living room?” as Christopher – who doesn’t see the resemblance – shook his head. The video has since racked up over three million views and over 250,000 likes with many also seeing the similarities.
Sarah, an operational support manager, from Bradford, West Yorkshire, said: “When Littler was in the final last year I thought he looked like him. No one had ever said he looks like Littler but my mum used to say he looked a little like Gerwyn Price.
“He pulls the same expressions as Luke as well. Christopher used to play rugby and his walk off the pitch is exactly the same as and when Luke’s walking back from his darts – the similarities are there.

“They’ve got a similar hairstyle too. When he shakes his head, it’s so similar. His family can’t believe how much it’s gone viral – he doesn’t see the similarity at all.”
Luke made history when he became the youngest World Darts Champion at just 17 in a historic victory against Michael Van Gerwen last Friday. He trained at the St Helens Darts Academy and their members cheered him on in a huge watch party.
Christopher, who is a mechanic, says he’s now become the brunt of the joke at work following Luke’s win. He said: “People at work have been making comments like ‘well done Luke’ and ‘what you spending your winnings on?’
“From the front on I don’t see it, but from how I was sat and my hair I guess I looked a bit like him. But only in looks, I’m dreadful at darts – I hit the wall more than the dartboard! So no plans for a career change.

“We were watching it every night so she’s been seeing the resemblance more and more. She [my partner] mentioned before the video that she saw the resemblance.”
Strangers on social media also chimed in on the joke. One user said that Luke had “recorded it so he could watch it at home”. Another said: “He’s Luke Littler off Wowcher.” A third commented: “I think if you got him a Luke Littler shirt and some darts he can make some serious money as a lookalike. “
