Hunt for balaclava-clad men after van is stolen from home in Bradley Stoke

Police are searching for two men after a van was stolen from a property in Bradley Stoke. A white Ford Transit van was taken from a property in The Willows and police have released an image of two people they would like to speak to in relation to the theft.

The van has a distinctive black roof rack with a white t-shirt tied to it as well as a damaged wheel arch. Police are keen to identify the people in the above picture as they believe they may have information that could assist the investigation.

One of the two people was seen wearing a black balaclava, a black coat, red gloves, black tracksuit bottoms and grey trainers. The second person was also wearing a black balaclava, a black hooded jumper with a white logo on the front, black tracksuit bottoms with a white logo. Both people are described as being white men.

Anyone who recognises the people pictured, or who has information which may assist police is asked to call 101 quoting the reference number 5224414967. Avon and Somerset Police said: “Officers investigating the theft of a van in Bradley Stoke, South Gloucestershire are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

“At about 11pm on Tuesday 31 December two people stole the white Ford Transit from a house in The Willows. The van had a damaged wheel arch and a distinctive black roof rack with a t-shirt tied to it.

“Officers are continuing to make enquiries to locate the van and also identify the two pictured people who they want to speak to. They are described as:

  • A white man wearing a black balaclava, black coat, red gloves, black tracksuit bottoms and grey trainers at the time.
  • A white man wearing a black balaclava, black hooded jumper with a white logo on the front and black tracksuit bottoms with a white logo.

“If you know who they are, have seen the van, or have any other information that could help our investigation, please contact us. If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5224414967.”
