Hunt for suspect after man sexually assaulted on platform of Bromley station

Police investigating a sexual assault at Bromley South railway station in December have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with their inquiries. At around 11.30pm on Monday, December 9, a man entered the station and walked onto the platform before sexually assaulting a man.

Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help with their investigation. Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police (BTP) by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 704 of 9 December.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

In a full statement, a spokesperson for BTP said: “Detectives investigating a sexual assault at Bromley South railway station in December are today releasing this image in connection.

“At around 11.30pm on 9 December, a man entered the station and walked onto the platform before sexually assaulting a man. Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help with their investigation.

“Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 704 of 9 December. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
