A police manhunt is underway after two men were sexually assaulted near Greenwich Park on Sunday (December 29). The attacks took place on Vanbrugh Park Road in Blackheath and at about 8.40pm.
The Metropolitan Police initially cordoned off the area while detectives investigated. Police are hoping to track down a white man with a stocky build and dark, receding hair who is wanted in connection with the sexual assaults.
Police say he has an Eastern European accent. Anyone who has information about the incident should call 101.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers responded to an alleged sexual assault on two men on Vanbrugh Park Road, Blackheath at around 8.40pm on Sunday, December 29. The incident is now being investigated and a crime scene remains in place.
“Police are looking to speak to a white man with a stocky build and dark, receding hair in connection to the incident. He is believed to have an Eastern European accent. Anyone with information should call 101, providing the reference 5632/29DEC.”
