ITV Coronation Street’s Mason Radcliffe star Luca Toolan breaks silence on soap exit

Coronation Street’s Mason Radcliffe star Luca Toolan has broken his silence on his tragic soap exit.

On Monday night, the hard-hitting episode delved into a serious knife crime plot, with the ITV soap collaborating with the Ben Kinsella Trust to ensure the storyline’s accuracy.

In recent scenes, Mason had helped DS Lisa Swain in her mission to bring his malicious brothers, Matty and Logan, to justice. After Lisa revealed to Mason that his brothers were responsible for the car accident that killed her wife Becky, he resolved to act.

Despite obtaining evidence against his brothers, they were released from custody as the proof was insufficient to hold them. Recognising he was in danger, Mason decided to leave Weatherfield and accepted Stu Carpenter’s job offer in Germany.
