The Masked Singer fans are even more convinced that comedian Harry Hill is inside the Kingfisher costume after spotting the star ‘outing himself’ on another TV show. Harry, whose real name is Matthew Keith Hall, appeared on Channel 4 show The Big Fat Quiz of Everything two days ahead of the sixth series of The Masked Singer UK starting.
It was there that he referenced the bonkers ITV guessing game. He was heard chanting ‘Take it off, take it off, take it off’, joking about host Jimmy Carr’s plastic surgery.
The show, where he was joined by teammate Fatiha El-Ghorri to battle against David Mitchell, Roisin Conaty, Sophie Willan and Josh Pugh, aired on Channel 4 on Thursday, January 2 – two days before The Masked Singer returned for its sixth series on Saturday, January 4. It has led to major speculation that Harry is indeed behind the Kingfisher costume.

Sharing a clip of the show to X, formerly Twitter, one fan wrote: “#MaskedSinger Does Harry Hill out himself here on The Big Fat Quiz.”
Fans immediately believed they had spotted Harry was inside the Kingfisher costume just seconds into the first episode of the hit ITV show – before they had even had a chance to perform their song. All of this year’s contestants were introduced with a group performance of the Spice Girls hit song Who Do You Think You Are.
Each sang just one line from the song, but fans immediately said it was ‘obvious’ Harry was Kingfisher, saying his unique voice had given him away. One wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “I hear Harry Hill,” as another agreed: “From that one opening line, the weird bird is Harry Hill?”
“One of those just sounded like Harry Hill,” a third fan commented. A fourth said: “That bird is Harry Hill.”
While a fifth added: “The blue bird is Harry Hill, surely?#themaskedsinger.”
Harry Hill, whose real name is Matthew Keith Hall, started his career in stand-up following years working as a medical doctor.
The Masked Singer airs on Saturday nights on ITV1.
