ITV The Masked Singer UK Kingfisher identity ‘uncovered’ as star lets slip clue

The Masked Singer UK is currently the talk of the town, as fans eagerly try to guess the identities behind the masks in the 2025 series well before their revelations on the show airing on ITV.

When Paul Whitehouse and his spouse Dr Mine Conkbayir appeared on Lorraine to chat about their new podcast I’m ADHD – No You’re Not!, conversation couldn’t help but steer towards the much-loved programme helmed by Joel Dommett.

There’s been speculation that the man known for his work alongside Harry Enfield might be hiding behind the Kingfisher costume particularly after a stunning performance of The Rainbow Connection from The Muppet Movie over the weekend.

As speculation hit fever pitch, Scottish presenter Lorraine Kelly couldn’t resist asking Paul about the rumours.

Kicking things off, she declared: “Paul Whitehouse is here with his wife Mine,” just as footage of the Kingfisher from The Masked Singer flickered on screen. Eager for answers, Lorraine questioned: “Err is that you?” She went further, insisting: “Look me in the eye and tell me?”

Paul Whitehouse was quizzed about a potential appearance on The Masked Singer

Prompted by his partner Mine’s request for honesty, Paul seemed visibly uneasy in his chair, responding to Lorraine: “If I say ‘yes’, you won’t believe me and if I say ‘no’ you won’t believe me so..”

Lorraine acknowledged this conundrum, replying: “This is very true. So we don’t know.”

Putting forth her own sleuthing theory, the TV personality then conjectured: “It would sort of make sense though with Kingfisher because they’re sort of there when you’re fishing.”

Interrupting her train of thought, Paul abruptly revealed who he suspected was behind the mask, suggesting that they were trying to shift the blame onto him, reports the Mirror.

He shared with the presenter: “Whoever has done it, Harry Hill, has very cleverly thrown the focus to me.”

Lorraine’s interest was piqued as she queried: “Ohh you think it might be Harry Hill?”

Recognising that he may have said too much, Paul quickly tried to retract his statement: “No, I mean there’s rumours flying around. ” Lorraine agreed, stating: “Well it could be anyone, let’s be honest,” before swiftly steering the conversation in a different direction.
