Jurgen Klopp’s former luxurious Merseyside home has been crowned the most viewed property on Rightmove in 2024. The stunning mansion, situated on the prestigious Victoria Road in Formby, was listed for sale with Berkeley Shaw Real Estate in October for £4.25 million.
A club source revealed to the ECHO that current Liverpool FC manager Arne Slot opted for a different residence upon his arrival, prompting the club to put the property on the market. Berkeley Shaw described the property on Instagram as a “beautiful home tucked away in the prestigious area of Freshfield, set on a private plot with impressive gardens and secure gated access.”
Located on the exclusive road, often referred to as “Millionaire’s Row” due to its grand mansions and celebrity residents, the property was home to Klopp and his wife, Ulla Sandrock, after he took the reins as Liverpool FC manager in 2015.

However, following his remarkable nine-year tenure, Klopp relocated to Mallorca earlier this year. The ECHO previously reported that the multi-million-pound mansion boasts a market rental value of several thousand pounds per month, with some properties on Victoria Road commanding rents as high as £12,000 per month.
New data from Rightmove revealed the former Liverpool FC manager’s £4.25m property as top of its most viewed homes of the year list. Berkeley Shaw’s William Goulden said: “This is an exceptional home in a beautiful part of the country. Many will be aware of the property’s recent history, and we look forward to playing a part in its future.”
The house was previously bought by Brendan Rodgers, Klopp’s predecessor, from Steven Gerrard back in 2012. Earlier this year, it was reported that Arne Slot, the new Liverpool manager, was set to move into Klopp’s £4million house, but he has since chosen another property.

Berkeley Shaw Real Estate’s managing director John Baybut echoed William Goulden’s sentiments. He said: “This is an exceptional home in a beautiful part of the country. Many will be aware of the property’s recent history and we look forward to playing a part in its future.”
