Kate Middleton’s ‘love’ of 75p superfood that’s packed with nutrients ‘exposed’

Kate Middleton reportedly has a penchant for a certain superfood renowned for its health benefits.

In the pages of Prince Harry’s contentious book ‘Spare’, he divulged that his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, harbours an affection for avocados, attributing to her radiant skin.

The Princess of Wales, who marks her 43rd birthday today, is known for her fondness of the nutrient-rich fruit.

Prince Harry’s remarks in his memoir about Kate’s preference for this superfood were echoed by an earlier incident. In 2017, during a Royal engagement, Prince William received an avocado intended for his wife, who was then expecting Prince Louis.

Grateful for the unique present, William expressed: “I’ve never been given an avocado before. That’s really sweet of you. Catherine will love the avocado,” reports Surrey Live.

Healthline suggests that avocados, that you can pick up for 75p from Tesco, can lower ‘bad’ cholesterol and potentially increase ‘good’ cholesterol, although they note further research is necessary.

Beyond their possible cholesterol benefits, avocados are celebrated for being packed with nutrients, healthy fats, protein, and essential vitamins and minerals. They are also associated with a decreased risk of heart disease.

Celebrating her 43rd birthday today, the future queen has faced a challenging year following her heartfelt revelation last March.

In a tranquil garden setting, addressing the nation, the poised mother-of-three shared her cancer diagnosis with dignity, stating: “It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I have had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me for which I’m so grateful.”

Under half a year on from disclosing her health battle, Kate disclosed that she had finished chemotherapy in a touching video featuring family moments, mentioning: “As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.”

She further expressed: “The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”
