The 14-year-old was fatally stabbed on a 472 bus in Woolwich Church Street, just over a mile from where 15-year-old DaeJaun Campbell was killed in Eglington Road just over three months ago.
DaeJaun’s final words were those pleading for his life after he was found with a gash to his forehead, and wounds to his head and leg from a zombie-style knife.
He was heard saying: “I’m fifteen, don’t let me die”. Three men have been charged with his death.
Eglington Road is rumoured to fall within the stomping ground of just one of the local gangs in the area, known as Wildbatch.

At a vigil held in his memory DaeJaun’s mother Jodie Taylor, said: “He is not only the first young person, nor will he be the last”.
Aspiring rapper Kelyan is believed to have had ties to Wildbatch as he was seen making gang signs in a recently released music video called ‘Bangers & Mash’ under his tagline of ‘Grippa’.
He refers to himself as “the shortest shooter on my block, but I still roll with the longest ting […]”, followed by the sound of a blade.
In the video posted less than two weeks before the fatal stabbing, the 14-year-old could also be heard rapping: “Where’s all their friends?, Most of them got put in the air”.
The Wildbatch gang is said to be active near Woolwich Common and around the Barnfield estate, fighting with rival gang WoolyO based near the Woolwich Docks.
Their violent clashes follow their attempts to each gain control of local drugs trade, using links with other local drug gangs such as the Zone 2 gang in Peckham and TG in Plumstead Common.
According to Kelyan’s mother, Mary Bokassa, her son was “groomed” by gangs after being “targeted” and taken advantage of whilst living on the streets after running away from care.

His death did not come as a surprise after she claims she tried numerous times to prevent it, as Kelyan grew to be “very on edge, very scared of going out”.
Sickening rap lyrics have been posted online, painting a gruesome image of Kelyan’s fate onboard the 472 bus.
Less than 24 hours before his death and also in Woolwich, police were alerted to reports of a just three minutes from a college.
An 18-year-old had been stabbed in Prince Imperial Road on January 6. The area was cordoned off, imposing a two-day closure on Shooters Hill Sixth Form in Red Lion Lane.

According to 2024 data from the Metropolitan Police, a total of nine knife-related murders were recorded across London for males aged between thirteen and 19.
One murder in this age group was recorded as a shooting-related incident.

The data was collected from the start of the year until September 2024.
In the wake of last week’s incidents, local officers were given greater powers to perform stop and search operations, and to demand the removal of disguises, including face coverings.
The measure was taken in the face of heightened concerns that there could be more violence.
