King Charles’s strategic new plans for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie revealed

King Charles reportedly has intentions to maintain a semi-royal status for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, over a decade after an incident that led to one of them being labelled a “laughing stock”.

Ephraim Hardcastle, a Royal commentator writing for the Daily Mail, suggested that the 76 year old King is eager to keep both Eugenie, 34, and Beatrice, 36, close, with plans to use them at events such as receptions and garden parties.

This shift in strategy by the monarch comes more than 10 years after the duo attended a trade event in Berlin in 2013, where Beatrice ran a red light while driving a Mini decorated with the Union Jack.

Following this mishap, an official allegedly remarked: “This is making us a laughing stock… Better if they b****r off and marry millionaires.”

Now, 12 years after the traffic light blunder, both Beatrice and Eugenie continue to be in the public eye, alongside their mother, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.

Recently, it was announced that Beatrice will attend the World Economic Forum in Davos to participate in a panel discussing the role of private capital in combating climate change, according to The Times.

Meanwhile, both sisters are rumoured to be supporting former Royal Family member Meghan Markle as her new TV show is set to premiere.

Royal expert Jennie Bond shared her thoughts on GB News, stating: “I very much doubt they [senior members of the Royal Family wil] watch her show – though Eugenie and Beatrice might tune in,” reports the Express.

Reports suggest that despite the Sussexes’ relocation to another part of the globe, the two sisters have maintained a close relationship with them.

A source informed Bella magazine: “Eugenie is immensely fond of Harry and Meghan, as is Jack. They’ve always been incredibly close and it’s extremely heartening to them that a wider (peace for the Sussexes) with the royals is finally in sight.”

Another insider suggested that Harry’s reported property acquisition in Portugal was an attempt to maintain some form of connection with the senior royals.

They commented: “A bond for Lilibet and Archie with Eugenie’s kids will be the only royal friendship they will have. So time in Portugal – even just for holidays – means that Harry is keeping the only door to the royal family just a little bit open for himself and for the next generation, and raising them as royal children, at least in some way? “

Buckingham Palace has been approached for a response.
