Geoffrey ADAMS
75 years, died at home on the 15th November. He was a loving husband to his wife Sally for 54 years. He also leaves his beloved sons: Ted, Tim and Joe, and his daughter in law Becca. His three grandsons: Thomas, Evan and Dewi, were always in his heart. He had a successful and wide-ranging career as a solicitor with Wales’ largest law firm, Hugh James Solicitors. He practised initially in Bargoed before moving to Merthyr and onto Cardiff, becoming the managing then senior partner. At age 59, he was the grateful recipient of a heart transplant. He retired from the law, and joined his wife, farming their organic sheep and cattle farm in Penrhos. A funeral and service of Thanksgiving will be held at midday on 9th January 2025 at St. Teilo’s Church, Llantillio Crossenny, followed by a wake at the Hog’s Head. In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the British Heart Foundation.
