Chaos hit the London Underground this Sunday morning (January 5) as two lines are suspended, and five are hit with closures. The Elizabeth line and Jubilee line are both part suspended.
The Elizabeth line will have no service between Maidenhead and Reading until 12pm today. A teplacement bus service W3 operates between Maidenhead, Twyford and Reading. Also a reduced service will operate between Hayes & Harlington and Maidenhead (except at Iver and Taplow). Two trains an hour will serve West Drayton, Langley, Slough, Burnham and Maidenhead.
There are also severe delays between Iver and Maidenhead due to late finish of engineering work. There is good service on the rest of the line.
On the Jubilee line, there is no service between West Hampstead and Neasden while TfL fix a faulty train at Willesden Green. There are minor delays on the rest of the line.
The Piccadilly and Waterloo and City lines are both facing part closures today. On the London Overground The Windrush and Mildmay lines are also facing part closures.
There are also minor delays on the Northern line and the DLR.
