Loose Women star Linda Robson makes Christmas change after husband split

Linda Robson, a panellist on ITV’s Loose Women, has made significant changes to her Christmas plans following her split from her husband. Linda revealed that she altered her festive arrangements after ending her 33-year marriage to Mark Dunford, reports Birmingham Live.

During a discussion with Kaye Adams, Jane Moore and Judi Love about phone usage on Christmas Day, Linda declared: “At my house there won’t be any phones, well its not actually my house this year it’s Lauren’s house, but normally in my house it’s no phones. ” The TV personality also mentioned: “So we take the phones off them until later that day and we have a nice peaceful family time.”

Linda commented: “My grandchildren are addicted to phones. So Lila’s 11, she’s just got a phone for the first time. And Betsy’s seven and Betsy is not allowed on her laptop until the weekend or any mobile phones and she’s like on Monday, ‘is it the weekend yet’ and [Linda says] no we’ve got another five days. ” “Honestly it just sort of takes over your life because I was addicted to the phone myself,” Linda concluded. Linda had previously disclosed that she separated from her husband Mark due to their differing lifestyle preferences.

The 65 year old Loose Women presenter confirmed her split from her partner of 33 years, stating: “We had some good years, but enough is enough.”

Linda opened up about her reasons, admitting to Woman magazine: “You find out you don’t want any of the same things. I’m a very sociable person and I like going out. Mark doesn’t enjoy any of that, he likes to stay at home. He’s not got loads of mates that he goes out drinking with or anything.”

She then reflected on the impact this had on their relationship, saying, “So I think that’s when things start to change in the relationship.” Linda also mentioned that she occupies herself by being around family and friends.
