A man has been charged with murder after a fatal shooting on an industrial estate in Birmingham. Victim Gavin Parry was shot dead near City Hospital, on Western Road, in Winson Green.
Remell Bailey, 27, is accused of killing the 31-year-old after a shooting, at around 5.30pm, on April 13, 2021. Bailey appeared in front of JPs at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, January 13,
He was remanded into custody. He will next appear in front of a judge at Birmingham Crown Court in March.

Issuing an update, West Midlands Police said in a statement today, Thursday, January 16: “A Birmingham man has been charged with the murder of Gavin Parry, who was shot dead in 2021. Remell Bailey appeared before magistrates on Monday and will appear at Birmingham Crown Court on 6 March after he was charged with murder.
“Mr Parry was killed in Western Road, Birmingham, in April 2021. Bailey, 27, was arrested earlier this month and was charged and remanded.”
