A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital after he fell from a height on Harrow Road this afternoon (Friday, December 10), police said. Police rushed to the scene at 4.25pm after receiving reports of the incident.
Met Police officers attended alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and the London Air Ambulance. They found the man in his early 20s. He was rushed to hospital and is being treated in a major trauma centre. His condition has since been assessed as non-life threatening but the severity of his injuries is not yet known. The road was initially closed but has since been reopened to traffic.
Ambulance crews reportedly arrived in less than two minutes and attended with an ambulance crew, a member of our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), a member of LAS’ Tactical Response Unit, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at about 16:25hrs on Friday, 10 January to reports of a person fallen from height on Harrow Road, W10.
“Emergency services attended. A man, aged in his early 20s, was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. We await an update on his condition. The road has been reopened to traffic.”
An LAS spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.26pm this afternoon (Friday 10 January) to reports of an incident in Harrow Road, W10. We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a member of our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), a member of our Tactical Response Unit, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance.
“The first of our crews arrived in less than two minutes.“Our crews treated a man at the scene, before taking him to a London major trauma centre by road.”
