A man who was reportedly stabbed to death in front of his terrified girlfriend has been named.
Recorda Davey-Ann Clarke, known as Ricardo to friends and family, was found with stab wounds in Willesden, north London just after 4am on Saturday. The 35-year-old died on the way to hospital. The Met Police said Mr Clarke’s family were receiving support from specialist officers.
Elyas Moussa, 29, of no fixed abode, appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court today, charged with murder. He appeared this morning in a grey prison issue tracksuit for the five-minute hearing. He spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth while giving his address as no fixed abode from the dock. He was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday.

A mother of three who lives on Linacre Road told Metro: “I was woken up by shouting and screaming. I looked out and blue lights from ambulances and police were flooding the street. Someone shouted ‘he’s been stabbed’. There was a woman there looking very upset.” Another local said: “There was an argument then shouting. The guy’s girlfriend was there.”
Police said they were called to reports of a stabbing in Linacre Road at around 4.16am, where Mr Clarke was found with “serious stab injuries”.
The police statement read: “At approximately 04.16am on Saturday 28 December police were called to reports of a stabbing in Linacre Road. Officers and London Ambulance and Air Ambulance paramedics attends the scene. A man was found suffering serious stab injuries. Despite the best efforts of emergency services he was declared dead on the way to hospital.”
