Martin Lewis has issued an eight-hour warning for ITV viewers to get their questions in ahead of his latest show tonight. The BBC Sounds podcast presenter has issued a rallying cry for people to get in touch with their queries.
As the Cost of Living crisis continues, Mr Lewis, 52, the Money Saving Expert founder, will be back on ITV TONIGHT from 8pm. He said: “Do you have questions on how to cut the cost of your energy bills, broadband, mobile, water bills, switch bank account?
“Tonight 8pm. @itvMLshow is back, its my annual BILLBUSTER, so if you need help saving just ask and the team will collate the main issues…” A fan replied: “I want to switch energy to Octopus. But they take a payment up front and won’t let me start on a variable DD. This is pricing me out of a switch as for the first month ill have paid British Gas already and Octopus want to take over £400 up front. What are my options?”

A second asked: “How do you compare gas and electricity prices accurately. Between the different standing charges, different tariffs, and actual usage charges, it’s quite difficult to figure out what is actually going to be cheaper for us. Also we signed a 2 year contract with a broadband company and surprise surprise, 2 months in the speed has dropped drastically. How do we exercise our rights if we wish to cancel the contract if they are continually providing below what we paid for?”
A third typed: “I cant get fibre broadband and it’s not on schedule for next 3 years at least. ( Southport ) Q: why am I finding it almost impossible to find a supplier of phone and broadband? Last I looked only 3 offered anything on comparison sites and they were double the price of fibre.”
“Thames Water have nearly doubled my water bill per month, and in the same email it’s stated I’ve used the same amount of water/less water than the year before and even praised me for it….. Can you explain how or why my bill is now doubled then?!?? Cheers” another said.
“how about removing discrimination pricing ..discounts which mean you use do all online. As a registered blind 82 year old my parent can’t use on line banking, on line accounts because they can’t see well is 82…so deals in cash only – at a price,” another wrote.
