Martin Lewis issues ‘important’ warning to EE, O2, Vodafone, Three customers

Martin Lewis has issued a warning to EE, O2, Three and Vodafone users. The BBC and ITV star has launched a new poll for his Money Saving Expert subscribers, readers and followers to engage with as we head deeper into the New Year.

“How do you rate your mobile network’s service & coverage? Please vote in this MSE site poll…,” Mr Lewis said. He went on to say: “Is important data we gather to help guide people in future.” The poll includes EE, O2, Sky, Three and Vodafone.

MSE explained: “We want to find out how each provider rates for service (how it treats you) and coverage (how strong the signal is when you need it). In truth, there are only four main networks providing signals – the rest use these, but under their own brands (see our mobile networks guide for who piggybacks on who).

“Please rate the firm that provides your mobile phone bill (if you’ve switched networks recently, please rate the provider you were with the longest over the last year).” Mr Lewis’ call for feedback has already received responses from his Twitter/X followers.

Abid Patel typed: “A few years ago, @EE ‘s coverage used to be the best, until @trussliz forced them to take down @HuaweiUK ‘s equipment. It’s been atrocious ever since! EE customer service won’t even acknowledge just how bad the coverage is. I’m waiting for them to reply to this as I’ve tagged them in, with the usual script monkey load of rubbish!”

Sandra wrote: “Giff Gaff. Never had problem in about 15 years… Cheaper than chips too! Moved to a rural area a couple of months ago & it is terrible. Could be my 15 year old sim however.” Sybur said: “I was with Asda Mobile previously, they were terrible.

“Customer service & website. They botched my wife’s switch over and she could not get her old number back. Been with Lebara about 12 months on MSE Deal costs £7.50 a month and I have zero complaints.”
