Meghan Markle fans spot heartwarming detail in emotional tribute to beloved dog

Meghan Markle posted a heartfelt video on social media this week to mark the death of her beloved dog Guy.

But now fans believe the clip also includes a snipper of Princess Lilibet’s voice. The Duchess of Sussex shared some devastating news on Instagram when she revealed her cherished dog has passed away.

Meghan’s followers will undoubtedly be aware of the significant role Guy played in her life, as she frequently posted pictures of him before temporarily stepping back from social media following her marriage to Prince Harry.

Alongside her extensive statement, Meghan shared a video featuring clips and photos of Guy throughout his life, including a clip of the dog frolicking on a beach with Harry calling out to him.

There are also clips where children’s voices – thought to be those of their kids, five-year-old Prince Archie and three-year-old Princess Lilibet – can be heard, although no faces are visible. However, it was the final clip in the video that truly touched fans’ hearts.

Overlaid on the end of the beach clip with the text “In loving memory of Guy”, Meghan can be heard singing a tender song to her beloved pet, and fans are convinced they can hear Lilibet joining in with her mum. The clip does feature a child’s voice, but it is unconfirmed who the voice belongs to.

Despite the lack of confirmation, fans took to social media to express their emotions, with some saying the voice “broke” them and left them “in tears”.

On the social media platform X, previously known as Twitter, affection poured in for Meghan’s beloved beagle, Guy. One user expressed their admiration, saying: “How sweet does little Lili sound? I’ve listened to this sweet clip of her and Meghan singing about Guy like a million times.”

Another person was equally enthralled, commenting: “Oh wow, how lovely. I listened over and over, so cute!” A third shared their emotional reaction: “This broke me. It’s a beautiful tribute.”

Meanwhile, another added: “Just tears. I didn’t know Guy, but I can see and hear how much love he gave to that wonderful family.”

The devoted pooch Guy won hearts far and wide, having joined Meghan’s life 10 years prior, witnessing her ascension to global fame, her time as Rachel Zane on ‘Suits’, and her journey through personal milestones including a divorce and remarriage. The dog even had his moment alongside the late Queen Elizabeth II during Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry at Windsor Castle.

In a poignant Instagram post, the Duchess opened up about her grief, revealing she had “cried too many tears to count” since Guy’s death. She penned a heartfelt tribute, part of which read: “I have cried too many tears to count – the type of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them, or pretend they’re not there. But they are. And that’s okay too.”

Further expressing her gratitude to Guy, she concluded: “Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy. You filled my life in ways you’ll never know.”
