A new yellow weather warning has been put in place for snow and ice this Monday.
An amber weather warning has already been in place across Yorkshire this weekend, with it coming into force at 9pm on Saturday and set to last until 11.59pm on Sunday. Now, a new warning has been issued for Monday.
This warning covers almost all of Yorkshire on Monday, except for places like Hull, Scarborough, Whitby and Redcar along the Yorkshire Coast.

It will be in place from midnight on Monday morning until 12pm, lasting for 12 hours in total. According to the Met Office, people should expect some snow with icy stretches, leading to travel disruption.
Some roads and railways will be affected with longer travel times and there will be icy patches on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths. As a result, some people may end up injured from slips and falls.
The Met Office said: “Snow will become more sporadic during Monday morning, though some further accumulations of a few centimetres are likely over the Pennines and perhaps the North York Moors. Icy stretches are likely to develop quite widely, making for some difficult travelling conditions.”
In addition, some southern regions of Yorkshire will be covered by a yellow warning for rain. This includes Sheffield, Doncaster, Goole and parts of Selby. This will be in force from 6am today until 6am tomorrow.
The Met Office said: “Outbreaks of rain, heavy at times, are likely on Sunday. 15 to 25 mm rainfall, combined with some thaw of lying snow, may lead to some flooding and travel disruption in places.”
