A friend of Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright appears to have confirmed the gender of their baby in an online slip-up. Former ITV Coronation Street actress Michelle announced on Sunday (December 30) that she was expecting a baby with former TOWIE star Mark Wright.
She posted a sweet snap of her baby bump, with Mark standing opposite her on a beach. Friends, loved ones and fans rushed to congratulate the couple, who have been married for almost a decade.
Essex and Mayfair-based Sheesh restaurant owner Dylan Hunt has been friends with Mark for years. Responding to the couple’s news, he suggested they were expecting a boy.

He teased: “Make sure he’s good Looking and rich, then I might let him take Gia out.” Realising what Dylan had posted about his daughter’s future boyfriend, one fan commented: “So it’s a boy lol.”
Michelle and Mark, both 37, are yet to reveal if they are having a boy or girl, Mirror reports. Michelle announced news of her pregnancy to social media fans, telling them 2025 was going to be an ‘amazing year’.
Mark’s dad Mark Snr told his son he could not wait to become a grandfather again, replying: “4th grandchild incoming and can’t wait xxxx”. Mark’s sister Jess Wright, reshared the baby news post.
Michelle captioned the snap with a red love heart emoji and said: “Finally, the news is out.” Mark’s cousin, Elliott Wright said: “At last! Haha. So happy for you both. Can’t wait to meet the baby”.
Mark’s best friend and former TOWIE co-star James ‘Arg’ Argent replied: “I love you and I’m so happy for you both. You’re going to be amazing parents. I can’t wait to become an uncle.”
Mark has previously been grilled about becoming a dad and was forced to defend his relationship. In 2019, he said he would ‘know’ when the time was right to become a dad, telling his Heart FM listeners he wanted to make sure he was ‘travelled out’ before settling down with a baby.
He insisted that the couple were already ‘excited’ to start a family, but at the time, he wasn’t ‘quite there yet’. The Mirror contacted Mark and Michelle’s reps for comment.
