Michelle Keegan shocked fans with her huge pregnancy announcement – unveiling her growing baby bump in the sunshine.
The TV star took to social media on Sunday to share her exciting news – uploading an image of herself with her reality star husband Mark Wright on the beach, reports the Mirror.
The Instagram post showed Mark walking towards Michelle on a beach with a golden sunset behind them.
Michelle – draped in white – wore a carefully styled outfit that proudly displayed her blossoming bump while she held a protective hand to her belly.
Sharing a sweet announcement on her main grid, Michelle added a simple caption, writing: “2025 is going to be a special one for us…” alongside a baby face emoji and a white heart emoji.
The former Corrie star employed clever photography and styling tricks to hide her pregnancy in the weeks running up to her heartwarming news – with festive snaps and videos in December carefully positioned to avoid sharing the exciting news too soon.
At the beginning of the month, Michelle shared various snaps and video clips on her Instagram along with a caption that stated: “Happy 1st December… I’ll be honest I stepped into Christmas weeks ago. Here’s to the best month of the year.”
The hero image in the collection saw Michelle sitting at a restaurant table while donning a huge, thick winter coat and with a small dog sitting on her lap, concealing her body.

Other snaps showed the actress posing in a large brown leather coat with thick sheepskin lining that swallowed her and concealed her entire figure, with other snaps showing her photographing herself from the shoulders upwards.
In late December, the TV star shared an advertisement video on her main grid showing her wrapping gifts and enjoying products by Rituals Cosmetics.
However, the angles of the video clip artfully worked around Michelle’s developing pregnancy to show her sitting in a way so as not to show her body, and with the cameras frequently cutting just to her hands or over her shoulder.

News of the couple’s pregnancy was met with messages of support and encouragement from their fans and followers.
One fan wrote in response to their Instagram post: “Awwwww Congratulations this is amazing news.” And another typed: “I’m so so happy for you guys. Just the best.”
In the past, Michelle has hit out over the way women are asked about becoming mothers – when it might be unknown by the person asking the question what their scenario is.
She told the Mirror : “It’s horrible. People don’t know if we’re trying. They don’t know the background of what’s happening. In this day and age, you shouldn’t be asking questions like that,” she declared.
“I’m asked purely because I’m a woman. I’m immune to it now – it’s like a reaction, and as soon as I hear it I brush it off as it’s no one else’s business.”
