Molly-Mae Hague has voiced frustration at online responses to her split from Tommy Fury, ahead of her new tell-all documentary.
Set to land on Amazon Prime Video this Friday (January 17), Molly-Mae: Behind It All pulls back the curtain on the TV personality’s life. The six-part series delves into how she juggles content creation, running two businesses, and motherhood to two-year-old Bambi.
The documentary also dives into the aftermath of her breakup with fellow Love Island alum Tommy. However, the 25-year-old entrepreneur has pushed back at claims that the docu-series is a ‘break-up documentary.’
Speaking at the launch of her fly-on-the-wall show, Molly-Mae admitted that although viewers can expect to watch her discussing the split in a ‘very honest’ way, there is ‘so much more’ to the forthcoming documentary.

“Obviously, we do talk about the break-up and it [the documentary] does discuss the break-up and we’re very honest in what we share about the break-up.
“But it’s so much more than a break-up documentary, it focuses on parts of my life that I haven’t really delved into before. At the minute we’re still filming, but in the following few episodes we touch on motherhood, we talk a lot about body confidence, running my two businesses and doing all of that whilst having a two-year-old and navigating it all through a break-up,” she explained.
The social media influencer has a daughter with ex-boyfriend Tommy, who she met in 2019 on ITV’s reality hit show Love Island. The couple shocked fans with a bombshell break-up announcement in August 2024.
Shortly after their split, Molly-Mae took to Instagram to announce her new fashion brand Maebe. The timing of the brand’s launch, which came in September, sparked online speculation that their split was a ‘publicity stunt.’
However, she has hit back at those rumours, confessing that reading the comments has been ‘frustrating.’

She said: “That for me, above everything, has been the most frustrating part. Because, I actually say in the documentary that I wish it was a publicity stunt. Because it would be a lot easier. Because going through all of this, with the turmoil of the break-up, has been incredibly hard.
“To have those comments, and I do see the comments, I see all of them – with people saying ‘this has obviously just been done to promote her brand or as a publicity stunt’ – that is very painful to read because it’s real life.
“Tommy and I have a baby together and it’s very very real and it’s a really hard thing that we’ve both gone through in the last six months. I wish it was a publicity stunt because it would be a lot easier – but it isn’t.”
Despite her frustration, the mum-of-one is sure sceptics will learn the truth behind the separation in the new series. “I think this documentary will clear up any questions on that [the break-up],” she concluded.
Molly-Mae: Behind It All eps 1-3 launch exclusively on Prime Video on 17th January. The latter three episodes will drop in Spring 2025.
