Molly-Mae Hague has expressed her annoyance at the online reactions to her split from Tommy Fury, ahead of her revealing new documentary.
The six-part series, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video this Friday (January 17). The show offers an intimate look into the life of the TV star, exploring how she balances content creation, managing two businesses, and motherhood to two year old Bambi.
The documentary also delves into the aftermath of her breakup with fellow Love Island star Tommy. However, the 25 year old businesswoman has refuted suggestions that the series is solely a ‘break-up documentary.’
At the launch of her candid series, Molly-Mae clarified that while viewers can anticipate seeing her discuss the split in a ‘very honest’ manner, there is ‘so much more’ to the upcoming documentary, reports Lancs Live.

“Obviously, we do talk about the break-up and it [the documentary] does discuss the break-up and we’re very honest in what we share about the break-up.
“But it’s so much more than a break-up documentary, it focuses on parts of my life that I haven’t really delved into before. At the minute we’re still filming, but in the following few episodes we touch on motherhood, we talk a lot about body confidence, running my two businesses and doing all of that whilst having a two-year-old and navigating it all through a break-up,” she elaborated.
Molly-Mae Hague has spoken out against claims that her split from ex-fiancé Tommy, with whom she shares a daughter, was a publicity stunt to promote her new fashion brand, Maebe. The couple, who met on Love Island in 2019, announced their break up in August 2024, and Molly-Mae launched her brand the following month.

She expressed her frustration at the online speculation, stating: “That for me, above everything, has been the most frustrating part. Because, I actually say in the documentary that I wish it was a publicity stunt. Because it would be a lot easier. Because going through all of this, with the turmoil of the break-up, has been incredibly hard.”
She continued: “To have those comments, and I do see the comments, I see all of them – with people saying ‘this has obviously just been done to promote her brand or as a publicity stunt’ – that is very painful to read because it’s real life.”
Molly-Mae emphasized the reality of their situation, saying: “Tommy and I have a baby together and it’s very very real and it’s a really hard thing that we’ve both gone through in the last six months. I wish it was a publicity stunt because it would be a lot easier – but it isn’t.”
She is confident that her upcoming documentary will clear up any doubts about the authenticity of their break-up, stating: “I think this documentary will clear up any questions on that [the break-up].”
Molly-Mae: Behind It All episodes 1-3 launch exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on January 17. The latter three episodes will drop in Spring 2025.
