Molly-Mae Hague has shared her feelings about her first Christmas without Tommy Fury. The couple, who shot to fame on Love Island in 2019 and were dubbed the “It” couple despite finishing second, seemed to have it all.
Molly-Mae, 25, and boxer Tommy, also 25, had a strong relationship that they shared with their fans. They welcomed their daughter Bambi in January 2023 and got engaged in July of the same year.
However, just over a year after Tommy proposed, their relationship ended abruptly, with social media influencer Molly announcing their split, shocking their millions of fans. Rumours circulated that Tommy had been unfaithful, but sources close to the Manchester-born athlete told the Mirror that these allegations were untrue and he was “distraught”.

Since their break up on August 14, the pair have been co-parenting their daughter, but it seems to have affected Molly-Mae. The YouTuber recently spoke about her first Christmas as a single mum and became emotional as she reflected on the holiday season.
Lying in bed with a teddy bear, Molly told her YouTube followers: “It’s been an emotional rollercoaster this Christmas, as I knew it would be, and that’s fine.”, reports the Mirror.
Molly-Mae Hague has spoken out about how her family has been her rock this Christmas, giving a special mention to her sister Zoe, saying: “But do you know what, I’ve had better up moments than I’ve had down and I would really put that down to my amazing family and my amazing sister who doesn’t ever really get a shoutout enough from me. Without being soppy because we don’t do soppy Zoe and I, we’re not those kinds of sisters, but I genuinely have the best sister on the planet.”
She continued: “There is nothing that she wouldn’t do for me and Bambi and she’s really pulled through this Christmas. She’s always my support system and Zoe and Danny had so much to do tonight and I was like ‘I don’t really wanna be here alone tonight so can you just stay and get a Chinese with me’ and they were like ‘yep’, cancelled everything they were doing tonight. I have the best family and support system in the world and it’s times like this when you just really realise that I’m just so lucky. I have the most amazing people around me and this Christmas reminded me.”
Although the festive season has been tinged with sadness, Molly-Mae had previously stated that she felt “blessed” and that Christmas had always been a positive time for her, but this year she has come to understand why it can be an emotionally challenging time for many people, saying: “It can be a really really sad time of the year and I feel like I’ve been so blessed in my life, I’ve never really felt that way at Christmas, it’s always been a really positive time for me. But I feel like this is the first Christmas ever where I can really understand what people talk about when they talk about how it really makes you feel.”
