Molly-Mae Hague has shared her experiences of facing her first Christmas without Tommy Fury.
The celebrity couple, who shot to fame on Love Island in 2019, quickly became a fan favourite, securing the title of the “It” couple despite their second place finish. Both aged 25, Molly-Mae and the boxer Tommy have been open with fans, showcasing their journey together through highs and lows.
They celebrated milestones like welcoming their daughter Bambi in January 2023 and getting engaged in July the same year. But just over a year following Tommy’s proposal, the couple found themselves parting ways, a split that shocked many of their followers.
Just hours after their split was announced, social media users had speculated that Tommy had cheated on Molly. But sources close to the sportsman revealed to the Mirror that this was far from the case and he had been left “distraught” by the “false allegations.”
Since their split on August 14, the pair have continued to co-parent their daughter but it appears to have taken a toll on Molly-Mae. The YouTuber has now opened up about her first Christmas as a single mum and was left tearful as she reflected on the festive period.

Lying in bed alongside a teddy bear, Molly told her YouTube subscribers: “It’s been an emotional rollercoaster this Christmas, as I knew it would be, and that’s fine.
“But do you know what, I’ve had better up moments than I’ve had down and I would really put that down to my amazing family and my amazing sister who doesn’t ever really get a shoutout enough from me. Without being soppy because we don’t do soppy Zoe and I, we’re not those kinds of sisters, but I genuinely have the best sister on the planet.”
She went on to add: “There is nothing that she wouldn’t do for me and Bambi and she’s really pulled through this Christmas. She’s always my support system and Zoe and Danny had so much to do tonight and I was like ‘I don’t really wanna be here alone tonight so can you just stay and get a Chinese with me’ and they were like ‘yep’, cancelled everything they were doing tonight.
“I have the best family and support system in the world and it’s times like this when you just really realise that I’m just so lucky. I have the most amazing people around me and this Christmas reminded me.”
“It’s been an emotional rollercoaster this Christmas, as I knew it would be, and that’s fine.”
But while her Christmas may have been tinged with sadness, she previously revealed that she was “blessed”, despite people claiming that the holidays could reigned emotional moments for people. Molly-Mae said: “It can be a really really sad time of the year and I feel like I’ve been so blessed in my life, I’ve never really felt that way at Christmas, it’s always been a really positive time for me.
“But I feel like this is the first Christmas ever where I can really understand what people talk about when they talk about how it really makes you feel.”
