BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty didn’t hesitate to call out a Saturday Kitchen star following an on-air mishap. In the episode aired on January 11, Naga, alongside her colleague Charlie Stayt, was delivering the morning’s headlines.
As their segment neared its end, they switched over to Saturday Kitchen where host Matt Tebbutt was about to tease what was coming up on his programme. However, an error occurred when the camera operator selected the wrong shot, inadvertently revealing one of the day’s guests.
Naga pointedly remarked: “What you think, Helen and your guests… Is that Emilia Fox?” Matt then responded: “Oh don’t give it away. Do you know how this works?” To which Naga retorted: “Well I do but did your director know how it works because they cut to a three shot.”
She added: “Your director did cut to a three shot and we did see Emilia, while they were laughing at you and not with you.”

The studio erupted into laughter as Matt quipped: “Well thank you. Should I even announce that guest now that it’s spoiled?”
Addressing his guest, Matt then said: “Our special guest today is the wonderful Emilia Fox. Yeah, thank you what a surprise that was.”
He proceeded to ask Emelia about her preferences for the show’s ‘food heaven or food hell’ feature, reports the Express.
Emilia shared her idea of culinary heaven and hell, saying: “My heaven would be something with white fish and ginger and lemon grass or something like that because it’s fresh.

“Hell would be something heavy like red meat, steak or anything with blue cheese because I’m not a fan of blue cheese.”
Matt Tebbutt elaborated on the upcoming segments of the show and quipped: “Well there you go, there is a lot going on.”
Upon returning to the studio, Naga Munchetty poked fun at him, saying: “You look like you’re really in control there Matt.”
The studio erupted into laughter when Matt responded: “Again that’s another telly insider there. I was holding it together, thank you very much.”
BBC Breakfast airs from 6am on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
