Here’s a breakdown of the closures to watch out for:
- January 4 to January 5: The A282 northbound Dartford Crossing West Tunnel will be closed from 10pm to 5am for maintenance works. Slight delays (under 10 minutes) are expected, with a diversion via the National Highways network.
- January 5 to January 6: The A282 northbound Dartford Crossing East Tunnel will undergo maintenance, with closures from 10pm to 5am. Slight delays (under 10 minutes) are anticipated.
- January 6 to January 7: Sign works on the A2 westbound between Dartford Bypass and the M25 anticlockwise at Darenth will result in lane and slip road closures from 10pm to 5:30am. Moderate delays (10-30 minutes) are expected, with diversions in place.
- January 6 to February 1: Tunnel works on the A282 northbound, junction 1a to the West Tunnel, will result in carriageway and slip road closures from 10pm to 6am nightly. Moderate delays (10-30 minutes) are likely.
- January 6 to January 9: Cabling works will lead to lane closures on the A282 southbound between junctions 31 and 1A from 10pm to 5am. Slight delays (under 10 minutes) are expected.
- January 11 to January 12: Contraflow works at the Dartford Crossing will close the A282 northbound tunnel from 9:30pm to 5am. Additional maintenance on the West Tunnel and QEII Bridge will also occur during this period. Slight delays (under 10 minutes) are expected.
- January 12 to January 13: The A282 northbound East Tunnel will be closed from 10pm to 5am for maintenance. Slight delays (under 10 minutes) are anticipated.
- January 13 to January 16: Drainage works on the A2 at Ebbsfleet will result in lane closures in both directions from 8pm to 6am. Slight delays (under 10 minutes) are expected.
